SRS Bracing Manual
This manual on bracing for Idiopathic Scoliosis is a product of the Scoliosis Research Society. It was distributed to participants at the 1998 Brace Instructional Course in New York City during the 33rd Annual Meeting. The sections below are the work of the distinguished faculty of the course. Several sections have been updated in 2003 and 2009.
SRS is in no way endorsing any of these braces over other brace types. In some cases there may have been help in the production of illustrations and drawings from the brace manufacturing companies. SRS has not received any funds from the manufacturers directly.
We hope this manual will be valuable as a future reference for your clinical and teaching activities.
