Attendees are encouraged to book their hotel reservations at the SRS headquarter hotel. Staying at the headquarter hotel not only allows attendees to take advantage of special discounted room rates, but also puts them in close proximity to all meeting events for maximum interaction with fellow attendees and faculty and a hassle-free experience. Additionally, booking in the block helps the Society avoid penalties for not filling its hotel block, which keeps meeting expenses and thus registration rates lower, and achieve a consistent hotel booking history that helps SRS continue to negotiate the lowest room rates possible for future meetings.
