Milwaukee, WI (May 5, 2022) The Scoliosis Research Society – as an international organization – brings advanced-level courses to a global audience again this year. The reintroduction of in-person meetings opened the door for four onsite learning opportunities in locations such as Bordeaux, France or Santiago, Chile.
Scoliosis Research Society’s Worldwide Courses contribute to spinal deformity education throughout the world. Each course serves the needs of spine surgeons in that region with lectures, workshops and case discussions
The Spinal Deformity Solutions: Hands-On Courses provides an opportunity for participants to expand their knowledge and improve skills through training and discussions with leading spinal deformity surgeons from throughout the world. Registration is limited to ensure access to faculty, small-group interaction for better learning, and opportunities for hands-on work.
A minimum of eight hours of the course is devoted to lab work, with a strong faculty-to-learner ratio. Topics and lab sessions cover all areas of the spine and a variety of conditions and techniques.
Courses in 2022 are in Bordeaux, France on June 1-3, 2022, and in Singapore, Singapore on October 27-29, 2022.
Current Concepts in Spine Deformity is a curriculum-based, interactive regional course that combines lectures, case presentations, and panel discussions covering a broad range of spinal deformity issues. These courses also include Industry Workshops. This program is ideal for orthopaedic and neurosurgeons who have completed specialty training, who practice spine surgery and have an interest in operative and non-operative treatment of patients with spinal deformity.
Courses in 2022 are in Santiago, Chile on July 28-30, 2022, and in Warsaw, Poland on November 18-19, 2022.
